what we believe
We believe the Bible is the written word of God and is to be accepted in its entirety.
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, and is ever present to convict the unbeliever of sin, to comfort, strengthen, and direct the believer.
We believe every man sins of his own free will; he lives under the condemnation of sin and therefore needs to be saved.
We believe salvation is a work of grace, and is received when the unbeliever repents of his sins and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe our salvation is present and permanent possession.
We believe the Church is a body of like-minded, baptized believers, banded together for the purpose of worship and service. Its government is both autonomous and democratic.
We believe baptism is an ordinance of the Church, symbolizing the believer's experience of a death to sin and resurrection to a new life in Christ Jesus. The proper mode for baptism is immersion.
We believe the Lord's Supper is an ordinance of the Church symbolizing our Lord's sacrificial death for sinful man.
We believe one day the Lord Jesus Christ will literally, visibly return to this earth to receive those who belong to Him.
We believe Heaven is a literal place prepared for the believer and Hell is a literal place for the unbelievers.
We believe Jesus Christ lives today ready to give abundant and eternal life to all who repent of sin and place their belief in Him.
